AmplifiED
A storytelling and advocacy initiative that invites Teach For India Alumni to take the mic and author powerful narratives that inspire, inform, or advocate for change within the education system.
We launched the first outreach cycle of AmplifiED 2025 between May 8-18, inviting Teach For India Alumni to submit bold, original writing rooted in grassroots experience or critical reflection.
The call received 13 diverse entries from across cohorts, covering themes such as reimagining pedagogy, systemic inefficiencies, education technology, AI, digital equity, and foundational learning.
Following internal review, 9 articles were selected for further development, with each writer receiving editorial guidance and one-on-one feedback to strengthen their narrative, structure, and voice.
Four articles from this cycle were published externally with Edex Live,
spotlighting powerful Alumni voices in public discourse.

Excerpt
"Looking at libraries as “third space”, a term coined by Elmborg challenges the traditional notions of libraries and positions them as dynamic, social and cultural spaces that intersect between formal and informal learning."

Excerpt
"Despite massive investments in education, learning outcomes remain stubbornly poor. But what if the solution isn't more of the same? What if we've been looking in the wrong place entirely? "

Excerpt from the article
"With the rise of AI and easy access to information, what we need now are not crammed facts, but cultivated faculties — concentration, judgement, creativity, observation, and reasoning, to name a few. This is what a true mental education would do. "

Excerpt
What if students learned AI by solving problems in their communities? What if they saw how language shapes machine learning, or how biology informs algorithms? What if they learned to question the technology, not just use it?
This first cycle reaffirmed AmplifiED as a powerful platform for Alumni to influence national conversations on education, equity, and innovation.
